My first camera was a childhood Christmas gift: an off-brand 110 with the stick that held flash cubes aloft. I enjoyed using it to record bits of my life. Another camera or two followed, including a point-and-shoot Canon 35mm that ended up in pieces when my sister’s dog got his gob on it. My husband and I eventually bought a dSLR in 2007, and shortly thereafter, I got interested. I uploaded nearly 5,000 images to Flickr, but those days are over, so I’m working on moving what I can over here. My husband, being the efficient man he is, would simply export and import, but I like to take a more deliberate and mindful approach, so little by little, more of my life will get revealed here.
